This week on the Brute Strength Podcast I’m interviewing a Powerlifting legend, Jim Wendler. At his best Jim had a 1000lb squat, 675lb bench and 700lb deadlift, weighing in at 275lb. Jim is also the creator of the 5/3/1 method, one of the most successful strength programs to date. In this episode we get into his early days at University of Arizona Football, lifting, training, competing,  and of course coaching. Jim is a great story teller so it was definitely a pleasure to hear him get into some topics like why he created the 5/3/1 method and the importance of keeping things simple in life and in training in order to become a true master. Enjoy the show.
